This cocktail is meant for dessert or the post-dinner pause. It leans into warmth, richness, and indulgence — the kind of sip that invites slower conversation and lingering glances.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz bourbon or aged rum

  • 0.75 oz espresso or cold brew concentrate

  • 0.5 oz chocolate liqueur

  • 0.25 oz vanilla syrup

  • Pinch of sea salt (optional, but recommended)


Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.

  2. Shake vigorously until well chilled.

  3. Strain into a coupe or Nick & Nora glass.

  4. Garnish with grated dark chocolate or espresso beans.

Includes ~20% dilution for easy pour service


Ingredients

  • 37.5 oz bourbon or aged rum (≈ 4.7 cups)

  • 18.75 oz espresso or cold brew (≈ 2.3 cups)

  • 12.5 oz chocolate liqueur (≈ 1.6 cups)

  • 6.25 oz vanilla syrup (≈ ¾ cup)

  • 15 oz filtered water (≈ 1.9 cups)


Batching Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a sealed container.

  2. Stir gently until fully incorporated.

  3. Chill thoroughly before serving.

  4. Shake individual portions briefly before pouring for the best texture.
