Spiced Spirit-Forward Cocktails

Add a little sparkle to your holiday season with a Cranberry Moscow Mule!

Bold • Brooding • Perfectly Balanced

The Black Manhattan swaps sweet vermouth for amaro, creating a deeper, more complex cocktail with bitter-sweet elegance. It’s rich, contemplative, and ideal for cold nights when you want something spirit-forward without being predictable.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz rye whiskey (or bourbon if you prefer softer edges)

  • 1 oz amaro (Averna or Montenegro works beautifully)

  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters

  • 1 dash orange bitters

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice.

  2. Stir until well chilled and properly diluted (about 20–25 seconds).

  3. Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass.

  4. Garnish with a Luxardo cherry or expressed orange peel.
